BBQ Chicken with Garlic Rice

Ingredients for Chili Tangy Barbecue sauce

1 1/4 cup Ketchup
1 cup Water
1 tea spoon Chili flakes
Salt to taste
3 table spoon Apple cider vinegar
2 table spoon Brown sugar
1/2 table spoon Black pepper (crushed)
1/2 table spoon Onion powder
1/2 tablespoon Mustard (ground)
1 table spoon Lemon juice
1 table spoon Worcestershire sauce
3-4 table spoon BBQ sauce

Ingredients for chicken

3 SPAR Tender Chicken Breast
1 table spoon Brown sugar
1 tea spoon Paprika
1/2 tea spoon Cumin ground
1/4 tea spoon Chili powder
1/4 cup Barbecue sauce

Ingredients for garlic rice

2 cups Rice
4 table spoon Garlic (minced)
1 table spoon Soya sauce
1 tea spoon White pepper
2-3 table spoon Oil

  • In a saucepan mix apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, onion powder, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, chili flakes, BBQ sauce and water.
  • Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.
  • Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 10 to 12 minutes at least or until thicken.

Direction for BBQ chicken

  • In small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, cumin, garlic salt, BBQ sauce and chili powder.
  • Rub both sides of K&N’s Tender Brest with seasoning mixture.
  • Place SPAR chicken tender Breast on grill pan over medium heat.
  • Cover grill pan and cook both sides for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
  • Serve chicken with barbecue sauce, sauté veggies and garlic rice.

Direction for Garlic rice

  • In a pot of slightly salted water boil rice until 80% done. Strain and set aside.
  • In separate pan heat oil, sauté garlic then add white pepper and soya sauce.
  • Then add rice in it and mix it well. Your garlic rice is ready.
