DRAGON CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN MARINATION
- 500g Chicken
cubes
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Black
pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic
powder
- 1/2 tsp White
pepper
- 2 tbsp Corn
flour
- 2 tbsp All-purpose
flour
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp
Sriracha sauce
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
- 1/4 cup Chili
oil
- 1 tbsp Garlic
(grated)
- 6 tbsp Brown
sugar
- 1 tsp Red
chili powder
- 2 tbsp Lime
juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Capsicum
(red)
- 1 tbsp
Sriracha sauce
- 1/3 cup Tomato
Paste
- 1 cup Water
- 1 pinch Food
color (orange)
- Oil for frying
- Green onion
for garnish
RECIPE
- In a bowl add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, white pepper, corn flour, flour, egg, sriracha sauce and mix it well.
- Marinate chicken cubes in it for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Deep fry marinated chicken cubes until golden brown and set aside.
- In a wok add one tablespoon of chili oil and sauté bell pepper at high flame and set aside.
- In the same wok fry garlic until brown.
- Add chili powder, stir a bit and add one cup of water.
- When water starts to boil add the remaining ingredients for the sauce and let it cool for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now add fried chicken and bell pepper to the sauce and mix it well.
- Top with sesame seeds, green onions and serve.
